Benefits of Joining the LCRA:

• LCRA provides continuing education seminars that are affordable and location friendly to most of our members.
  
  
• LCRA protects our profession by keeping an eye on legislation that could be detrimental to our careers and we also have helped pass legislation that has benefited the Louisiana court reporter.
  
  
• We monitor the NCRA certification tests and Louisiana certification test twice a year to court reporting students and certified court reporters who want to upgrade their certifications, i.e., RMR, CRR, et cetera.

• LCRA is a national affiliate of the NCRA and abides by their standards and bylaws. LCRA members are the cream of the crop so to speak.
